American Civil Liberties Union of Hawai'i, Honolulu
Our mission is to protect individual freedoms guaranteed under the federal and state constitutions. We have been doing this in Hawai'i since 1965 by providing legal, legislative and public education services statewide at no cost to the public. The ACLU is a private, non-partisan, not-for-profit organization supported primarily by private donations. We are not affiliated with the government and do not accept any government funds in order to maintain our independence.
